This look totally reminded me of Cindy Mancini's from Can't Buy Me Love. The outfit that was she borrowed from her mother without permission and was ruined by red wine spillage. I loved that outfit, and it totally gave me that vibe.
This look is a part of the Otis Collection for Lane Bryant. The jacket and skirt were my favorite pieces. The skirt has a white leather panel that just makes it so chic and expensive. The jacket it all leather. In my head, I expected not to like the pieces and thought I would end up returning. I quickly changed my mind when I saw the pieces in hand. I look forward to making both pieces staples in my spring wardrobe.
Style Notes: I ended up getting a size 24 in the skirt and size 20 in the jacket. The only thing I didn't like about the look was that the split in the skirt came really high. That's an easy fix, so it wasn't a deal breaker. I'll swing by the tailor to have it sewn up.
