I was excited to get my hands on this jumpsuit from Beth Ditto. Thank you to Beth Ditto for sending me this piece. There were quite a few questions I had about the fabric, fit, and just overall feel. From my personal experience, the photography of indie plus size contemporary fashion seems not to translate as well online as it does in person. This is one of my complaints about always having to shop onIine. You can miss out on some amazing finds because of how things look online. I saw snippets of the line on the Snapchat of Nicolette Mason and thought the colors look more vibrant and rich. Getting a piece in my hands proved my theory. In person, the fabric, print, and beautiful colors spoke to me. On top of that, this jumpsuit was insanely comfortable. I could have spent the whole day wearing this.
This jumpsuit would make an excellent special occasion piece. It would work for wedding, baby shower (because of the volume of this piece maternity ladies could wear as well), bridal shower, etc.
Style Notes: I got a 3X in the jumpsuit. I am a 26 on my bottom half, 18 on my top half. If I wanted to reduce the volume of the fit I could easily size down the 2X. If you are plus size and in the 4X/5X range, I think the 3X could fit you easily. I added in my own belt.
